The Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry was incorporated on 16th December 2010 under section 25, sub section 1 and clause (a) of the Indian Companies Act 1956 after obtaining the License from the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.

This organization was established after holding series of discussions with various sections of the business and industrial community from all parts of the region. Some of the eminent professors and academicians also took part in these deliberations and became a part of the decision making group.

The Group had reviewed the development of Trade, Commerce and Industry in Telangana region during the times of Nizam's rule, Hyderabad state and subsequently formed Andhra Pradesh state in the year 1956. After taking stock of the situation, it was decided to keep a more result-oriented, transparent and dedicated institution in place to take care of Trade, Commerce and Industry in Telangana area with much more concentration and attention.

TECCI wants to be more cautious and careful about the involvement in the Corporate Social Responsibility with a concentrated effort. TECCI is also not oblivious of its role to be played in respect of Climate Change which has become a formidable global crisis today. TECCI always makes an endeavor to be on its toes in fulfilling these obligations.

TECCI has made it a continuous process to innovate its wide ranging activities and consultations to meet the ever changing industrial demands. It shall maintain a good rapport not only with the Apex Bodies like Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASSOCHAM), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Indian National Committee of International Chamber of Commerce (INCICC) and All India Organization of Employees (A10E) but also at the leading Chambers of Commerce and Industry across the Globe in order to avail the maximum advantage on different aspects of the business community.

Any person/ Firm/ Company engaged in business in Trade, Commerce and Industry can enroll as a Member under relevant category Academicians, Administrators who advise the business community are also welcome to enroll as Members.

The total direct and indirect Membership is around 3400.

  • First of all, you will have the opportunity to meet the Members of TECCI who hail from different sectors of the industry. You can share your views and suggestions with any of the sectors in which you are involved and interested. A good opportunity to get exposed and acquainted with many entrepreneurs and industrialists not only in the state but also in the country.

  • In addition to this. you will have an opportunity to meet Ministers, top Government officials, prominent business & industrial leaders, Members of Civil Society and professionals of high order who participate in these events.

  • You will be invited for all seminars, conferences, Workshops and Training Programs being organized by TECCI on various topics concerning to the current affairs and trends of Trade, Commerce Industry and Agriculture.

  • You will be provided with house journal, News Letters etc. containing the updates in the above areas.

  • You will be provided with a well designed and very informative Business Directory which will help you to find out the required details quickly. This will take some time as we have just commenced then process.

  • Honoring the entrepreneurs and industrialists for their outstanding performances in their respective area of operation every year on the anniversary of TECCI.

  • Participation in national and international Trade Fairs, Business Exhibitions at concessional rates wherever it is possible, B2B, B2C meetings, inputs in Technology, Research and Development etc.

  • A special focus and concentration will be made in involving the deserving and interested Members to be a part of “Make In Telangana” program in collaboration with reputed foreign companies.

  • Regular meetings will be conducted quarterly to review the grievances of the Members especially in MSME sector in running their industries successfully and find out solutions in consultation with the concerned Authorities for better performance.

  • You will be provided with all relevant information in respect of the following :

  • Updates on the rules, regulations and legislations of both State and Central Governments periodically.Pertaining to Trade, Commerce,Industry and Agriculture.

  • Exports, Imports, State & Central Excise rules, regulations and customs Duty etc.

  • Direct & Indirect Taxes, Power Tariff, Industrial Incentives, Power Tariff and Single Window clearance

  • Issuing Certificates of Origin and attestation of Export Documents, Visa Recommendation Letters etc..

  • All sorts of assistance which an organization of this nature has to extend.

All payments have to be made through Account Payee cheques or Demand Drafts in favour of “Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry payable at Hyderabad ”We are planning to organize the on line facility from the month of September / October 2015.

For the purpose of subscription "Year" is reckoned as a period of 12 months from the first day of the Quarter in which the application is submitted. "Quarter" means periods of April to June, July to September, October to December and January to March.

Payment should be made either in cash or by Demand Draft/pay Order drawn in favour of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry" payable at Hyderabad.

All applicants must furnish the bio-data of the CEO of the organisation along with the profile of the organisation and the following documents, if applicable:

Exporters : Letter alloting Importer-Exporter Code (IEC) issued by DGFT, Government of India 100% E0 U s ; Permission Letter issued by Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India SSIS : Regn. Certificate issued by District Industries Centre, Department of Industries.

Yes. It is required. The strength of the Membership is very attractive now. You will be definitely knowing at least two Members who can propose and second for your enrollment. In case you do not find anybody, being a new organization, you can contact the Administrative Officer whom will put up the papers before the Scrutinizing Committee and help you in completing the formalities.

In fact, there should be only one Apex Body which controls the entire state. Depending the then prevailing circumstances, many societies and associations had come into existence.

Yes. You will not have access until you become a Member. This access continues to be in place till the validity of your Membership.

There are 33 committees covering all areas of business activity. Persons with relevant and rich experience in the respective fields will be invited to join the committees. There will be a team of experts to scrtinise these proposals for their induction into the committees.

Yes. We have branches in some other states and countries like USA, UK, Switzerland, Dubai, Mauritius etc. We are on the job of expanding our net work.These details will be furnished on request after seeking necessary clarifications.

TECCI is conducting different programs, seminars and Round Table Conference etc. in its own way. TECCI cannot be compared with CII, FAPCCI, ASSOCHAM and FICCI which were established in the years 1895, 1917. 1920 and 1927 respectively. Anyway, We are working with all commitment and concentration to be second to none as far as the professionalism is concerned.

It is to be noted that there was Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Telangana which was established in the yearb 1917 before the formation of Andhra Pradesh. After the formation, the same organization was renamed as FAPCCI in 1958.Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce was in place for 39 years.

Of course. This is definitely a first of its kind policy. TECCI has submitted a report to the Government much before the launching of this Policy. We are happy to mention that most of our suggestions and recommendations have been accepted and reflected in the new Industrial Policy - 2014.

Yes. We have an Experts Committee to study and review the Government Policies. We are planning to submit a Report to the Government every month with our suggestions and assist the Government on behalf of Business and Industrial Community in implementing their programs.

We are planning to bring out a Quarterly magazine from the month of October 2015.The delay is to avoid interruption of any sort after the commencing the release of the first issue.

Yes. We will issue the Certificates of Membership every fortnight. The certificates have to be sent to the printer every two weeks. It is difficult to issue the these certificates immediately after the enrollment.

Yes. We will issue the Certificates of Origin. These applications along with all required documents as per the Government’s norms shall be sent to the relevant committee for necessary scrutiny and if everything is found in order, certificate will be issued within 24 hours.

Yes. We are issuing these recommendations letters after scrutinizing the contents and antecedents of the Members. There is a team of Members from the Executive Committee to verify the veracity of the contents. This will take 2,3 days.

We have submitted our application to the Income Tax authorities to keep this facility in place under section 80 G of the Income Tax Act 1961.
